At times I start to feel stuck in one way or another, whether that is financially, emotionally, in a relationship, in my health, or some other way. When I'm stuck, occasionally my mind starts to wander into the "Snow White Syndrome" and I start wishing and hoping for a rescue. In reality, the power to get un-stuck lies with me alone. Who or what is "the economy"? Who or what is "the government". Who or what will be coming to get us un-stuck? Watch this 1-minute video, and when you stop laughing start rescuing yourself! You hopefully watched the video clip I posted last week of Mary Louise Zeller. Mary Louise is a 5th degree black belt and 8 time world champion in Tae Kwan Do. At the age of 65, Master Zeller continues to coach and compete, and is preparing for the next olympics when others her age are cheering on their grandkids to do so. She is truly an example of living an ageless and limitless life. I was honored to interview her this week (watch Live On Purpose Radio for the show in a few days). She pointed out that sometimes we don't feel like doing what we know we should to move forward with our goals. Well, how we feel is sometimes no more significant than the weather report. Sometimes the weather is stormy, and sometimes it is clear. Live on purpose, no matter what! Enjoy these top three episodes of…

I've sometimes joked around a little with attendees at my seminars saying, "I want you to go out there right now, and in the next half hour find some way to make your life... Worse!" People always laugh because they would never do that intentionally, but they can always think of at least a half dozen ways to do it. Isn't the opposite also true? I want you to go out there and in the next half hour find some way to make your life... Better! Enjoy the video! Whether you think you can, or think you can’t… you’re right. - Henry Ford P.S. My friend Dave told me a story from when he was a teenager and wanted some money to buy something he wanted. He asked his dad for the money, who said, “Put out your hand.” Dave put out his hand. Then his dad said, “Put out your other hand.” Dave put out his other hand. Then his dad said, “See those things at the end of your arms? They are called ‘hands’ – Get to work!”citi cash advance The harder you work, the harder it is to surrender. - Vince Lombardi Take a moment to enjoy THIS VIDEO - I got a good chuckle out of it!

In last week's message about cutting out everything that doesn't look like that, I got a number of comments and several e-mail responses. If you thought that was cool, you're going to love what I carved from a family sized bar of Ivory soap ... With so much fear, doubt, discouragement, and negativity in the world, we could all use a little soap for our hope. One of the most powerful ways to scrub your hope is to start noticing all of the amazing things that already exist in your world, and to keep a fresh appreciation for what you have right now. Forget about all of the stuff you don't have, and foster gratitude for all you do have. Use this soap regularly, and see how clean your hope becomes.one stop title loans I hope you will join me for "Soap for Your Hope - A Pep Talk with Dr. Paul"…

I snapped this picture this morning of a stick that I keep on my desk. When I show this to people they are sometimes amazed that a stick could be carved to look like a chain or a cage with two freely moving balls inside. They sometimes ask, “how did you do that?” My favorite answer, “I just cut off everything that doesn’t look like that.” What a great analogy for life. Get a clear picture in your mind of what you want your life to look like, and then set about cutting off everything that doesn’t look like that.12 month loans bad credit direct lenders no guarantor Knock the “T” Off the word can’t. - Norman Vincent Peale

A friend shared with me a thought about an acorn that has the potential to become a huge oak tree. In the process of becoming an oak tree, the acorn doesn’t scurry around searching for leaf molecules and bark molecules to build this tree – it simply exists where it is planted, and has access to absolutely everything that it needs right there. Everything that you need for success is immediately available to you. Sometimes we have to just start noticing the resources that are already abundant around us. I recently heard Russell Osguthorpe speak where he emphasized one of the ten commandments from the Bible, “Thou shalt not kill.” Most of us don’t really have a problem with this particular directive, but what if you were to push it to the opposite end of that spectrum – “Give life!” Our interactions with others are rarely neutral, either we are killing them a little (through harsh words, anger, or criticism) or we are giving them life (through cheerfulness, validation, and praise). Let’s all take that biblical exhortation a little more seriously by giving life!cashback payday advancei need money now bad creditwww.wholefamilylaw.com/js/w/ Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass… It’s about learning how to dance in the rain. - Unknown P.S.
