Don’t wait until everything is perfect.

I recently gave this advice in the video just dropped to the YouTube Channel.

This advice doesn’t apply only to the topic that Vicki and I were discussing. It applies to almost everything we do in life.

If we waited until everything was perfect, how many things would we end up doing?

As I look back in life when I have taken what I would label a big step, getting married, having children, applying to graduate school, opening my own business, changing that business, etc. there were a lot of unknowns.

It felt messy and frankly scary sometimes.

It didn’t feel perfect.

Vicki and I often didn’t feel, “We got this.”

Instead we probably had more questions than answers.

In hindsight in every one of these times we are glad that we went ahead and figured things out along the way.

Because if we waited until the time was perfect we may never have bought a home, had kids, attended school, etc.

In an increasingly anxious world, this could be a good lesson to share with your kids or someone close to you. We don’t have to wait for things to be perfect.

What is your next step?

Go ahead and move into the uncertainty.

You can figure things out along the way.

That is what life is all about.
