A phrase often attributed to Adlai Stevenson goes something like this, “It’s better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.” I love to associate with those who bring more light to the world. With all of the darkness, doom, and gloom out there; we need lots of candle lighters. Today choose to compliment rather than criticize, choose the positive rather than the negative, choose gratitude rather than guilt, choose a smile over a scowl.
