Have you ever wondered if you are on the right path?

The path that will lead to excellence in your life?

There are 5 clues that will help you determine if the path you are on is the one that is meant for you.

Number 1, do you feel called to the work you are doing?

When you have the feeling that what you are doing is your life’s work, you are excited, it lights you up.

It is what helps you get through the muck, knowing that this is what you are meant to do.

Number 2, You love whatever it is that you are engaged in. You're passionate about it. It adds energy to your life.

Live On Purpose TV, Live On Purpose Central and Live On Purpose Radio are the things that get me up in the morning.

I love opening up possibilities for people who didn't see them.

I love creating hope where there was none.

I love helping families to function with a culture that is healthy and loving.

I love helping people to reach their full potential, (which is always more than they even thought).

These reasons give me the energy to get out of bed in the morning with excitement of what the day will bring.

Number 3, You have exceptional skill in the area you are pursuing.

Vicki and I were watching America's Got Talent. People who think they are talented, sign up to audition. They are passionate and love what they are showcasing, but many just don't have the skill.

If this is the case, that’s just not your path to excellence. You have to have exceptional skill.

Either you already have it through your natural talent or you develop it through everything that it takes to create and build the skill level that is necessary.

You are also constantly looking to improve. There is no stasis.

Number 4, You seek to upgrade or take your area to the next level.

Not only are you looking to improve your own ability and skill in that area, but you want to improve the area you are working in, you want to revolutionize how the work gets done.

Number 5, You are creating value for other people.

When all these clues are in place and you are doing them all on a regular basis, your life rocks.

It rocks because it is meaningful, you are upgrading your life and the lives of other people.

This is the sweet spot, where you get to do what you love for those who love what you do.

And improving the lives of other people generates wealth. Not only economic wealth, but wealth in each area of our lives.
