Revealing Riches

By September 10, 2008 3 Comments

A new client and friend, Chad, said to me this week that his mission in life is to help those who are leading quiet lives of desperation.  Another new friend, Brad Barton, quotes Benjamin Disraeli in his book Beyond Illusions as saying, “The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches, but to reveal to him his own.”  There are people in YOUR world today who don’t understand their own worth and what they have to offer – speak truth to them!

I would like to know how I can attract more riches into my life. Do you know of anyone that is hiring employees? I am applying for sales positions at several companies. I have sold Printlab Graphics services for about a month and have great returns. I have also given presentations on the Merlin Duct Wizard to carpet cleaning companies.

  • Thanks, DocPaul. Well put. I know for me, when I come across a great message, I want to rush out and start teaching it to others. I’ve found this ESPECIALLY true if I don’t know what else to do with a concept. I’m learning to go ahead and ‘test’ principles by applying them in my own life. This, in itself, is a great way to begin teaching it to others. For one thing, successful use of principles attracts success and attracts others to the person creating the value. Second, we now have a better, proven foundation for our teaching rather than just the theory, or worse, rhetoric (there are a lot of teachers out there willing to teach the theories, things that sound good).

Thanks for teaching what you teach. Thanks even more, DocPaul, for striving to practice the things you share.
